Paws: Rounded.

TAIL

Thick at the base, of medium length, tapers to a rounded tip.

5 pts - TAIL

5 pts - EARS

EYES

Medium in size, oval, slightly oblique, colour ranges from yellow to deep orange preferred, hazel is accepted.

5 pts - EYES

COAT

Short with a slight lift, undercoat very soft and dense, guard hairs coarse. The contrast varies from very light grey (almost white) to grey. Contrast coloration appears on the legs, paws, the ears, in the mask and the tail.  On the body it appears ‘salt and pepper’ (roan) hair.  The complete colour in not finished until at least a year old. A white locket is allowed on chest or belly only. Pale ear furnishings and whiskers desired. Pattern presumed heat sensitive.

Kittens are born with very pale colouring, paw pads and nose leather clearly indicating black or blue-grey colour, the body colour starts to develop approximately at the age of 2 months and the contrast starts on the ears, nose, paws and the tip of the tail.
